Testimonials
Tammy Thieme, LCSW
I recommend We Are HER to my clients as part of their recovery to enable them to have a supportive community. They have the option to tell their own story or to have a private support system. I have experienced clients leaving abusive relationships because they have felt empowered from We Are HER.
sarah, season 1 podcast guest
I was hesitant to do the podcast. I wasn’t sure if what I had to say would matter. I wasn’t sure if what I had to say was even worth sharing. I met with Stevie and Emily before the recording to discuss the format and I mentioned my doubts. They listened, reassured me, and reminded me that they both thought I had something worth sharing, but ultimately the choice was mine. What we discussed was my choice. What was off-limits was my choice. Whether I used my name was my choice. Everything was my choice, all they wanted was to ensure that I felt safe. Revisiting trauma isn’t easy, but I can’t imagine having done it with anyone else.
Alex Skurrat, digital meetup participant
The Digital Meetup was one of the coolest experiences I ever had. Being able to connect with people from around the country that have had similar feelings that I have with similar experiences is such a comforting feeling. Being able to virtually meet my survivor sisters and talk to them whenever I want for support even after the meetup is truly amazing. I would not trade this experience for the world.
