write for our blog
Hundreds of survivors from around the globe have shared their story on our blog. You can share one piece or send us multiple blog posts that we can schedule out week-by-week. To share your story, we ask a few things from you: pick a username you’d like to publish your stories under (it can be your real name or a fake handle), change the name of anyone in your story to protect yourself, and know that no matter the caliber of abuse that you endured your story is valuable.
To become a blog contributor, please email your finished stories to stephanie@weareher.net.
speak on our podcast
Each year, we put a call on social media for guests for our podcast. Our host Emily Kempe is a trained advocate who has a conversation with a different survivor each week. Our podcast records in the spring and airs in the summer.
The goal of our podcast is to help survivors like you share their story in a healthy medium that allows you to talk. All guests have the option to remain anonymous. Applications for Season 4 will open in the spring of 2022.
Please listen to our podcast. And leave a review! It’s a great way for new listeners to discover our show.
Survivor Story Series
Our Survivor Story Series is a new feature on our blog. Each month, a different survivor can meet up with a professional writer who will volunteer to help share your story on our blog. Survivors can choose to stay anonymous or share their real name and photo.
Her'e’s an example of a Survivor Story.
If you’re interested in being featured on our Survivor Series, please email stevie@weareher.net to get connected with one of our volunteer writers.
attend a digital survivor meetup
Our digital survivor meetups are a way for you to safely share your story with other survivors.
Sharing with a group of people who understand what you’ve gone through can be so instrumental in your healing journey.
Our digital survivor meetups take place over a video call where you have the option to stay anonymous by turning off your video.
We host these monthly meetups.
To sign up for the next meetup, email info@weareher.net.
